Pumpkin Martini ~ From Casa del Sol

Rachel Maria's Recipes

Last year, my friend Tommy and his lovely family, visited The House on High Street. As a housewarming gift, Tommy came fully equipped~ and introduced us to the Pumpkin Martini!

I’ve known Tommy and his family, since college. Today, he owns a restaurant, called Casa del Sol, in the same town we attended college. (Nyack, New York.) Casa is known for their remarkable Mexican-faire dishes and authentically, fun atmosphere. But, that’s not all. Evidently Tommy, who was originally one of the restaurant’s top bartenders, can make more than just killer margaritas! In my opinion, he is the king of Pumpkin Martinis.

Ever since his visit to our house, last year, I’ve become such a huge fan of these delicious cocktails! I served them up, last year, during the holidays. They were a big hit. So, I plan on doing the same, this year. Sometimes, I even add some chocolate syrup. It’s like dessert in a glass!

Tommy graciously shared the recipe with me. So, here it is! However, if you really want the experience, you need to visit Casa del Sol! Start with this cocktail, then try some of their signature tacos, with Mexican Street corn, refried beans, and yuca fries. THEN, end your evening with a classic margarita!

Don’t forget to tell Tommy that I sent you!
