So, you may or may not love Valentine’s Day. But like it or not, it’s coming in a few weeks, and I believe we can choose to make it extraordinary. Last year on Valentine’s Day, I cried a lot. Over a broken heart. I was missing Baby Banana so much. At that time, Scott and I really had no certainty of being forever parents. Anyway, I’m regretful that I didn’t make it a little more special. Valentine’s Day is the day to celebrate love and our loved ones! So this year, I’m wearing something Valentine-sy. I’m eating a big serving of chocolate. And, I’m going to celebrate all the love that surrounds me, every day! So, let’s get to the fun part. What to wear for Valentine’s Day?
Hey, there! So, you may know that I am on vacation from blogging. (Until next week.) But, I wanted to put this blog post together because the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale is going on right now. And, it ends on January 2nd. If you’re a Nordstrom lover, like myself, you know that there are only two sales a year! The Anniversary Sale (in July) and the Half-Yearly Sale (end of December). So, I decided to round up my TOP TEN picks to help you identify some of the best of the best deals. Items that are not only on sale, but great accents, possibly necessities, for your wardrobe!

I’ve been coloring my hair, in some shape or form, since I was a teenager. From henna rinses and box dyes to bleaching highlights that recently took me from brunette to a blonde. You’d think I would have lost my hair by now, but by some miracle, my hair still looks fairly thick and healthy. Ok, maybe it’s more than just by miracle. Perhaps it’s just knowing how to take care of bleached hair.
You’re probably reading this, for one of two reasons. Either, you’re thinking about quitting your day job to do what looks so much easier, more glamorous, and fun! (Trust me. It’s not nearly as much as you think.) Or, you want to show support to the Blogger, Instagrammer, and/or You Tuber that is sharing awesome, FREE content with you on a regular basis. (Thank you!!!) Either way, it’s a fair question. How do Social Media Influencers make money? Here are a few ways…
Every year, there are official Fashion Week events that help fashionistas plan their upcoming seasonal wardrobe. I have never been to one, yet. But, my goal is to attend NYFW in the Fall of 2019! Fortunately, we can see everything on-line. So, I wanted to share some of the Fall 2018 Fashion Trends that have been projected from the winter events.
I am a huge proponent of spending a little more for a better quality product. I don’t know many women who would turn down a free pair of Gucci sunglasses, Valentino pumps, or an iconic Chloe Bag. However, when the price tag looks like the bill from our last family vacation, it’s rather simple to resort to mere window shopping.
I wanted to get the perfect Father’s Day gift, for Scott, this year. There are many reasons for this. As you know, Scott is a foster daddy. He and I have been fostering babies for a few years, now. It takes a very special man to love a child enough to foster, over having his own biological child. I know gifts are not necessary, but when I was invited to collaborate with JORD, it was a no-brainer for me to have Scott select a men’s watch, by JORD, for an early Father’s Day gift.
Ah, the warm and sunny weather has finally arrived! Now, it’s not so hard to believe Memorial Day is around the corner! What are your plans? Scott and I hope to make it down to the shore, at least one day. I also may be doing a little shopping to take advantage of the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale! I already have my eye on a few pieces. Mainly summer rompers and jumpsuits!!
Every once in a while, I’m asked about my skin regime. Aside from genetics, there are ways we can take care of our skin. From avoiding sun exposure, to regular facials, and using quality products. (Not meaning expensive products!) In this post, I’ll share my favorite organic skincare and natural makeup products.
