You would think it’s easier to shop for men. They’re supposedly more laid back and less complex. And yet, every year, I struggle to find the perfect holiday gift for my husband, Scott. Sometimes, we’ll joke around and I’ll remind him how easy it is to shop for me! “I would love anything from Nordstrom, Loft, Anthropologie, Kendra Scott, Lagos, etc.” But, Scott is super picky and prefers to buy things himself. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of research on unique men’s gift ideas. I discovered a bunch of things that have more originality. As of today, Scott does not own anything, on this list. But, I think he’d love anything that falls into his category. Therefore, I’m calling this The Ultimate Men’s Gift Guide. Because if Scott would love it, I’m sure your man will, too!
The Ultimate Gift Guide for the Man in Your Life
If I were to describe Scott’s personality, interests, livelihood, etc. It would be: Laid back. Music lover. Adventure/Travel Guru. Handy-man. Foodie. Always On-the-Go!
But, I’m going to add extra categories that may better describe the man in your life: Reader. Gym-goer/Fitness lover. Suit-wearer. Fun-loving. Nicely Groomed.
I find it most helpful to identify your man’s personality and interests. What kind of work does he do? How does he like to spend his evenings? What does he love to do most on the weekends? What would help his day go a little smoother? What would make him smile? etc.
Hopefully, some of these gift ideas will suit your man and make your life a little easier.
Wusthof Classic 8-inch Cooks Knife For the more serious cook (chef), I’d definitely recommend a good quality chef’s knife. This is actually one of my favorites. It’s a solid, well made German knife. With a sturdy handle. And, made to last! I think it’s worth the investment, as well. (PS If you’re significant other is a good cook, Congratulations! You hit the jackpot.)
How about a gift certificate to a few new places he can try?
Or, a food tour in a nearby city?
