Organic Skincare & Makeup Products

Beauty & Fashion, Extraordinary Living

I just finished my third Youtube video on organic skincare and makeup products. Right now, these are my favorites based on three standards.

1) The ingredients need to be natural. Preferably, organic! After being diagnosed with autoimmune disease AND the MTHFR Mutation that limits my body’s ability to detox, I knew that I had to make some serious changes. I cleaned up my diet. I exchanged the products in my household (from bar soap to laundry detergent). I incorporated a weekly Detox routine. And, I switched out my skincare and make-up products. Our skin is the largest organ. Ignoring the vulnerability of our skin absorbing toxins from harsh chemicals, paragons, artificial colors/fragrances, etc. can lead us down a turbulent path of acquiring more autoimmune disorders! All this to say, I’ve been very picky in selecting products that go on my skin (and especially my face), and the ingredients have to be natural!

Healing Autoimmune Disorders - Part 2

Extraordinary Living, Health & Fitness

Do you suffer with multiple health symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety, depression, insomnia, allergies, digestive issues, muscle or joint pain, brain fog, pregnancy issues, and/or trouble with losing weight? Women, do you feel that you your hormones are off balance the majority of the time? Are you so used to dealing with your symptoms that you are compromising your potential to live an extraordinary life?

PMDD Sometimes

Dear Friend, it’s been a while
Sorry- been keeping to myself.
There’s just only part of me
that I want you to see.
And, sometimes it’s too hard to be around.

Hello there, don’t mind me
Sorry- tryin to feel myself again.
At times I just don’t know
Who I am or where to go.
And, sometimes it’s too much to understand.

Bacon & Bok Choy Zoodles

I can’t believe I was a sceptic of Zoodles. I honestly never would have thought that they could taste so delicious. To the point of replacing pasta! If you’re trying to cut down on gluten and/or carbohydrates (either can cause inflammation for some of us), you need to get yourself a spiralizer!

My Favorite Green Smoothie

I don’t know why I was afraid of green smoothies, for so long. I love mint chocolate-chip ice cream, so drinking a green frozen liquid shouldn’t have been an issue. As far as the main ingredient being spinach? Well, this smoothie doesn’t taste like spinach at all. It tastes like a banana-vanilla milkshake. Another great way to get those greens in.
