Hello, Mommy’s Friends. In a few days, I’ll be six months old! I weigh 19 pounds. Well, at least before I lost who-knows how many pounds in dog hair!
Now that the weather is warm, mom and I are spending a lot of time outside. When daddy’s at work, mom and I take long walks in the park or play in the backyard, with a football.
When daddy comes home, we spend family time together, such as wrestling and roasting marshmallows over a fire.
I love being outside, just like mommy. But, I have so much hair on my little body that it makes me hot in this warm weather. Sometimes, I can look like Chewbacca.
It feels like I’m wearing a full mink coat, this time of year. Mommy thought I was getting fresh by sticking my tongue out, at her. But, I was just sweating.
Yesterday, mom said I needed a “haircut”. I had no idea what she was talking about. I just got my nails clipped by two women and I didn’t like it one bit!
But, I trust my mommy. When she told me to “lay down” and “stay still”, I listened! Whatever it took not to go back to those 2 ladies that violated me!
This is the point in which my mom turned into Edward Scissor Hands!
I was a little scared.
And, I got even more nervous when I saw another “ME” on the floor.
Mom said that it was “just my fur” and that I should be a lot cooler now. I already thought I was the coolest labradoodle in the world!? I tried eating my fur, but I got yelled at.
After mommy finished, she took pictures of me and sent them to daddy. I tried to pose my cutest!
People have been calling me a “teddy bear”, before I got my hair-cut. But, when daddy came home from work, yesterday, and saw me, he told mommy that I looked like a squirrel.
I think I’m still cute. And, I think I look like a puppy again and not some wooly mammoth! Mommy gave me so many kisses, today. She said I was the cutest labradoodle in the world. I hope you think so, too.
Well, I’m going to go roll around outside and eat some twigs, now.
