What’s not to love about sunglasses? They protect our eyes from the sun and literally keep us safe on the roads. They conceal our no-makeup, no-sleep, and/or no-desire to expose our eyes in public. And, most importantly they compliment our look and style.
Wow. Weather in the northeast is getting stranger and stranger! We had another snow storm last week. I’ve been keeping a pair of flip flops and uggs by my door, because one day it can be warm and the next day it can be freezing. But, I am so ready to pack up my boots and coats for good. I decided to go on a search for Sales on Sandals! These will not last too long, as they are a minimum of 3o% off regular prices. So, have fun. And, kiss those socks goodbye! : ) For more fashion deals, be sure to check out my “Shop My Instagram” Page.
I think it is suffice to say, “We made it!” Another winter, down in the books. Now it’s time to start (if you have not, already) shopping those infamous spring fashion sales!
Scott and I will be celebrating both Passover and Easter. It’s a blessing to have both holidays that are unique and exclusive from one another. I enjoy spending the quality time with both families. Not to mention, I love celebrating the biblical truths of Passover and Easter.
This weekend, Scott and I spent an overnight at the Borgata Hotel and Casino, in Atlantic City. It was our first night away from Blue. As much as I missed him, I enjoyed the time away with Scott. Even though we didn’t escape the cold nor spend that much time away.
There was a time that I loved getting all dolled up for Valentine’s Day. But, nowadays, eating sushi or going to a quiet BYOB is more ideal, for Scott and me. This year, we may even bring Baby Blue along since it’s his first Valentine’s Day, and he has captured our hearts, for sure!
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with a very talented team of women, at Anthropologie. I was looking for some ideas for spring essentials. Specifically, lightweight jackets, cardigans to wear over cute tee shirts and pretty blouses, mule shoes, and fun bucket and cross-body handbags.
As soon as I became a foster-mommy (and first time mommy), I went through culture shock. I went from a professional-career-oriented-power-suit-female to a stay-at-home-eat-more-dress-up-less mommy. While I would consider it the most joyful time of my life, it was also a bit depressing. I found it so easy to get into a mommy-rut, and just stay in my pjs or sweats, all day. My life was more hands-on and active. Then, one day, I went on a Hardtail Forever shopping spree. This is, hands down, my favorite line of active wear.
I’ve been a happy blonde for almost two years, now. It took a while for me to achieve blonde, in the first place. I eventually gave up on the salons after five attempts that barely produced blonde highlights. Realizing I’d risk losing my hair ~ along with the fact that my hair grows quickly, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Overall, I’m glad I did. But, come to find out, achieving blonde is one thing. Mastering how to maintain blonde hair, is quite another.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Holiday Shopping time! I don’t know about you, but I have a love-hate relationship with physically shopping at department stores. In spite of the twinkling lights, the joyful music, and the festive decor, it can be stressful.
I know we are gearing up to start our Holiday shopping, if we haven’t already begun, yet. Something Scott and I like to do, that makes our shopping a lot less stressful, is to provide one another with a bunch of ideas on what we would like. I highly recommend for you, ladies, to consider this. We can just call it, A Fashionista’s Dream Christmas List. Unless of course, your husband, is amongst the 2% of men who are able to buy gifts for their wives, that will actually be used and not returned! (I made up that statistic, but I bet I’m close.)
