Black Friday Deals on Women’s Boots
You would think it’s easier to shop for men. They’re supposedly more laid back and less complex. And yet, every year, I struggle to find the perfect holiday gift for my husband, Scott. Sometimes, we’ll joke around and I’ll remind him how easy it is to shop for me! “I would love anything from Nordstrom, Loft, Anthropologie, Kendra Scott, Lagos, etc.” But, Scott is super picky and prefers to buy things himself. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of research on unique men’s gift ideas. I discovered a bunch of things that have more originality. As of today, Scott does not own anything, on this list. But, I think he’d love anything that falls into his category. Therefore, I’m calling this The Ultimate Men’s Gift Guide. Because if Scott would love it, I’m sure your man will, too!
I’m on a roll creating gift guides for the 2018 holiday season! Most recently, I’ve been doing research on some of the most popular tech products (of 2018), with the highest ratings. What do they all have in common? They all require recharging. And, they all add a little extra (information, a service, simplicity, etc.) to our lifestyles. Turns out, most of these items could be well suited for even the non-techie person, in your life. I know that I’ll be adding some of these popular tech products, to my holiday shopping list, for certain!
Scott and I just got home from a long weekend in Las Vegas. He surprised me with Celine Dion tickets, for my birthday. (Back in September.) I was a little concerned that it would be too much to travel to Las Vegas for a concert. Neither one of us wanted to spend too much money or run out of time to get our money’s worth. So, we agreed on the highlights we both wanted to see and do, and took it from there. Best of all? We did not break the bank. So, before you head out to Vegas for a long weekend, have a look to see how we spent our 72 hours!
My mom always taught me, Never go to someone’s home empty handed! I will admit, I haven’t always been as creative nor even as thoughtful as I’d have liked. Too often, I’ll just grab a bottle of wine, which is always a safe way to go. (Even if the host does not drink it, she will have it on hand for guests.) Ideally, I like to bring something homemade. But, I don’t always have time for that. Lately, if and when I see something priced well or on sale that I like, I’ll grab it and keep it on hand. In this post, I’m going to share some gift ideas for the hostess that are unique and special! And, not too expensive.
Scott and I are going to Vegas for a long weekend. His parents and Megan are staying at the house to watch Baby Blue and Cooper. I’m going to miss them, but I am so excited to have this time with Scott! He surprised me with tickets to see Celine Dion on my birthday. I’ve been wanting to see her perform in Vegas, for years!
Hey Girlies! Last Fall, I started (or at least attempted to start) a seasonal blog post containing my current, favorite things. Somehow, it dropped off my radar. So I never did post a winter, spring, nor summer post. SORRY! If you recall, Baby Blue arrived last fall. And, we still had Baby Berry for a few months. I think that about explains itself. LOL So, here we go again. I’m sharing my favorite things, this season. From food items to home decor, my favorite book, DUPES, beauty and fashion items, baby products, and more.
I’ve been coloring my hair, in some shape or form, since I was a teenager. From henna rinses and box dyes to bleaching highlights that recently took me from brunette to a blonde. You’d think I would have lost my hair by now, but by some miracle, my hair still looks fairly thick and healthy. Ok, maybe it’s more than just by miracle. Perhaps it’s just knowing how to take care of bleached hair.
I decided to do a three-day detox, this week, and I’m happy to report I made it! Having autoimmune disorders, from endometriosis to PMDD, and hypothyroidism (to name a few), I learned that clean eating is one of the best ways to alleviate symptoms. But, let’s be realistic, not all of us are made to live on carrot juice. Nevertheless, I did partake in a 3-Day Detox, this week. I’m going to share the basic guidelines I followed. What I ended up eating, each day, along with how I felt.
As the saying goes, summer deserves a speeding ticket! It surely does fly by, fast. I had been longing to get to the beach with Baby Blue since Memorial Day. But, it wasn’t until late August before Blue’s tiny toes hit the sand. Scott and I took Baby Blue to Wildwood Crest~New Jersey, with friends for a mini 2-night stay. Last week, we celebrated my birthday with a five day stay in Avalon, NJ. This was our official end-of-summer vacation with Baby Blue. And, it was well worth the wait!
